Unnamed Kispiox Lake (Bartok Lake) Outlet Spawning Gravel Placement

In 1991, technicians with the Recreational Fisheries Branch undertook a restoration project at an unnamed lake, dubbed Bartok lake, approximately 80 km north of Hazelton. This lake had been stocked annually with rainbow trout since 1988, but lacked suitable spawning habitat. To amend this, they brought in gravel to construct artificial spawning pads on the outlet stream (Bartok Creek) of the lake.
