Rainbow trout are the most important sport fish in terms of angling effort in the Babine Lake system. Griffiths (1968) has reported on the age and growth of rainbow trout in the main part of Babine Lake but little or no information exists for Babine River. The purpose of this paper is to report the age and size composition of rainbow trout caught in the North Arm-Babine River- Nilkitkwa Lake area in 1969.
