The remedial measures described in this report are intended to:
-
increase the availability of suitable spawning, rearing and feeding areas for salmonid species known or expected to utilize subject streams;
-
increase the recruitment of spring and fall spawning salmonid species;
-
protect and maintain downstream water quality through activities that control streambed scour and streambank erosion while providing an abundance of fish cover for different fish species and their life-history stages; and
-
provide the basis for any subsequent stream habitat restoration and enhancement projects in the Maxan watershed.
